UPDATE at 9 AM: Per CHP this accident has one fatality. Caltrans and CHP are investigating. Five CHP units are at the scene.
January 13, 2014: At 6:40 AM a traffic accident with injuries was reported on Hwy 99 at French Camp Rd in Stockton. A vehicle fire has spread to the wooden structure being constructed under the underpass.
Four CHP and fire are responding. An ambulance has been dispatched. A big rig reportedly involved has left the scene and is being chased down 99 by a witness.
