After a length battle in court, the Copper Cove Homeowners Association apparently was awarded $18,540 in legal fees for the expenses incurred in defending the Association against a lawsuit filed by a homeowner.
In an order signed by Thomas A Smith, Judge of Superior Court on December 26, 2013, it was ordered that the litigants pay back the Homeowners Association for their legal expenses.

Is this the one with the Meyers who the homeowners group says kept harassing them and they tried to get money out of the homeowners. I thought I heard they dropped their suit at the last minute when the homeowners wouldn't offer a settlement. Good for them.

These Whack Jobs finally had their day in court and guess what! Time to pay the bill you ran up, you decrepit ambulance chaser and your nut job of a wife. These people extort money out of Insurance company and people with bogus lawsuits just like the one they brought up against copper cove. Most insurance company want to avoid legal fees and will throw a few dollars at Buzzards like the Meyers to get them to go away even if they know the lawsuit has no merit. This time someone stood up to them and saw it threw. They have already said they are going to Sue again!!!! How about this Mr & Ms Meyers why don't you first pay the judgment you now Owe and then pack your bags and move back under the rock you came from.
if this would happen more often then guaranteed there would be less meritless lawsuits filed!!! Congrats to Copper Cove HOA for their commitment to WHAT IS RIGHT!!!
It's frustrating to know our legal system supports and sometimes even rewards blood sucking lawyers like the Meyers. Mrs Meyers is a cyber bully. She is a coward that hides behind a keyboard & attacks via email. They will tell lies and quote law that's not even applicable. I'm sure this is not the last we will see or hear from them. They are stubborn ignorant people that thrive on conflict and negitivity. I think going after people is a source of entertainment for them. They have no friends in the community or life and attack people from behind the Saftey of their computer keyboard. No wonder why they live behind a gate and never leave it open!!!!!
It would appear that the people who chose to remain "anonymous" with their comments are probably those who had prior been on the receiving end of the Meyer's threats, vitriol or just plain nastiness. Given the nature of the Meyers we all realize that these people may not "crawl back under the rock that they came from" as been suggested. This clown had previously been censured and disbarred due to his less than ethical practices. Pay back is a bitch Mr. Meyers.

Ms Meyers I guess when a judge rules against you and your husband IT MUST BE ILLEGAL!

But they did show up at a couple monthly HOA meetings last year.
More than what can be said about some who were elected to serve the community on the Copper Cove board.
^^ I don't know what your talking about ^^^ the only Meyer to step foot in the HOA was Mr Meyers. That's right Ms Meyers never showed up at all. Even after she decided to run for the board she never Even showed up. How can you run for the board and not even attend the meetings. Keep in mind the Meyers were suing the Hoa and running for the board at the same time. How can you be running for the board and suing it at the same time????
Mrs Meyers is a coward. She sends her husband to the meetings to report back information. Here is a Tip Mrs Meyers why not show up and confront the people and association you so often accuse and harass. Are you afraid you might be held accountable for the lies you so often spread.
2 years ago when Thomas Meyers ran for the HOA board he requested that the Sheriff be present during the HOA election for fear that someone would hurt him! Wow that's a good one. Even though no one had made threats against him. I guess paranoia can set in when you have been running your mouth! Most people have been silent on this subject for fear of one of the Meyers frivolous law suits Hopefully them having to open up their wallet will slow them in next time they decide to take someone to court
The amount of people they have hurt in this town is staggering. I take pity on such evil people.
