Dear Sierra Sentinel:
The Water Wars that you wrote about is only the beginning of the end for the creatures who live in the forests of the Sierras.
Once the water is shipped to LA, and the trees and brush are all cut down, there will be nothing for the deer, the birds, the bears, squirrels, and on and on.
We moved to the Sierras about 10 years ago, to live where it can remain a forest. Clear-cutting and brush clearing should be a criminal act, and those responsible should be brought to justice.
I've spoken to nut cases who moved here and now want the trees, the brush, and all the annoying animals disposed of. Why did you move here? Cowards should live in the City.
And you are cowards. After all, everyone knows that humans are the TRUE predators of the world, not the animals. Animals hunt to survive. MAN HUNTS FOR PLEASURE!!
If you don't like or fear the animals for any reason, you need to leave this area. Animals have at least as much right to exist as YOU do. Maybe more.

I agree that no one should live in the forest if they are afraid or just don't really like the animals who call it their home. Humans are the predators of the world is a fact!
Lol! Poooor animals with thousands and thousands of California acres in the sierra foothills and mountains to roam.
Every human leaves his footprint on the environment. That includes animal lovers! Smog, litter, malls, buildings, structures, highways, even the home you live in displaced an animal!
So what that there are those who voice an opinion about where they live. Right or wrong, be an adult and roll with it. Get proactive. Tired of these crybaby citizens who are all negative without ONE resolution !
Hhhhmmm, I hunt legally to feed my family. I eat what I shoot and only take what I need. Food is not raised in a grocery store. Everything has its place, I agree, but don't cry there is no food due to no food, no farms. People need to start to wake up. Survival of the fittest.
