On January 27, 2014 at around 6:50 AM Jerry Wayne Cradduck (75) of Sonora was driving a 2003 Subaru northbound on O'byrnes Ferry Road just north of Copper Cove Drive at approximately 55 MPH.
Mr. Cradduck made an unsafe turning movement to the west (left) which made him lose control of the Subaru.
He stated that a deer jumped out in front of his vehicle. Due to his unsafe turn he allowed the Subaru to enter the southbound lane and enter the westbound shoulder.
When the Subaru entered the westbound shoulder Mr. Cradduck had lost complete control of the Subaru.
Consequently, the Subaru rolled over. After the collision Mr. Cradduck and his passenger Julia Carolyn Cradduck (74) were transported by ambulance to Sonora Community Hospital for minor injuries.
