CalFire reports that they have hired their seasonal firefighters early this year and are beginning to staff Central California fire stations.
They hired 15 firefighters for the Madera-Mariposa-Merced Unit, 14 for Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit and 12 in the Fresno-Kings Unit.
