Letter to the Editor....About General Plan

   Dear Sierra Sentinel:

    Or should I say dear 5th estate?  You are that in Calaveras, Sentinel.  Anyway, this letter is about the fiasco everyone is talking about, the Calaveras County General Plan.

   While we are all aware that in District 2, Steve Wilensky and Holly Mines are totally to blame for wasting everyone's time and creating their own planning codes, etc., are the people aware that the same problem was created in my area of Ebbetts Pass, too?

   Callaway got her friend John Ellis to be chair; I know cause I tried to go and be a part of the plan; there was absolutely NO way they were doing anything but what Callaway had told Ellis to do.

   Yes, Planned Development was the beginning of the end for Arnold. The very next week after it was approved by the moron Supervisors, Ellis was given special exemption OUT of the plan he created for Callaway.

   We all know this, but most people don't pay attention. So if you don't have a job, lost your house, or can see that Arnold is dead, remember that you have Callaway and Ellis to thank.

     Now that all of them are being thrown out, we can only hope that someone else with half a brain will run and get elected as Ebbetts Pass Supervisor so we can start to clean up her mess.
