On March 9, 2014 at approximately 3:15 AM, an on-duty officer from the Angels Police Department was involved in a solo vehicle accident at Hwy4 near Vallecito Bypass Road in Vallecito.
The officer suffered injuries in the accident, according to a City of Angels Police report and was transported to an area hospital. The accident is still under investigation and additional details are not available at this time.
