Dominic Donofrio, an 15 year resident of Valley Springs, passed away at his home on February 28, 2014. He was 77 years old.A native of Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Donofrio was a retired Cargo Officer for British Airways.
He was a member of the Foothills Classic Car Club and a member of the Valley Springs Area Business Association (VSABA).
Mr. Donofrio is survived by his wife Renee Donofrio of Valley Springs; children Nadine Carney of Walnut Creek, Beatrice Bradley of Red Bluff, Ursula Donofrio of Granite Bay and Dominic Donofrio of Valley Springs.
He is also survived by step-children Wendy Finch of Connecticut and Jeff Hooker of Virginia, a sister; Mary Ann Culella of Long Island, New York and five grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Donofrio and siblings Francis Donofrio and Joseph Donofrio, all of Long Island, New York.
A Memorial Mass with Rosary will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 162 Church Hill Rd in San Andreas.
A reception will follow at The Pickle Patch in San Andreas.
