At the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance last weekend this rare 1937 French Roadster sold for $6.6 million, well above the high end estimate.The owner of the car died last summer and his widow sold it. The amount was a record for the event. It shows that the wealthy are willing to pay for what they want. regardless of price.
