We were just notified that Pat Garrahan has officially filed the paperwork necessary to run for Calaveras County Sheriff.
He tells us he is enjoying talking to the voters, hearing their thoughts and concerns, and sharing his vision for public safety in Calaveras County.
Pat Garrahan believes that it is important that the officers who risk their lies everyday have faith in their leadership.
The Calaveras Deputy Sheriff's Association is backing Garrahan. He tells us he feels honored to have their endorsement.

Thank goodness!! We need a Sheriff that doesn't intimidate and bully his staff. Someone that takes his job seriously and is professional in every way.
A Sheriff that can read and interpret the law and provide the leadership that has been lacking for the last 3 1/2 yrs.
I'm voting for Garrahan!! I hope my fellow community members do the same!!
