We received an email press release from Igor Birman's /Tom McClintocks campaign that a Senator Mike Lee (R) of Utah (fresh from CPAC) is endorsing Birman against the extremely popular Ami Bera.
What is interesting is that the entire nature of the Republican right wing has seemed to be rewritten overnight by Lee.
Lee suddenly says that the party is rewriting a bold new "positive" agenda to fix healthcare (he doesn't say he wants to vote for a 51st time to repeal it), and make higher education more affordable (hold on, he must be a Democrat in wolf's clothing).
No one believes a word of it; the party of NO is not really changing, but only making it look like they are to try and get elected.
Not only can Birman not win against Ami Bera, but we don't believe he can win against Doug Ose.
