On March 26, 2014 at 8 AM Tina Gomes (44) or Sonora was driving a 1990 Jeep Cherokee southbound on Hwy 49 approaching Columbia Way.
Danny Moore (58) of Folsom was driving a 2006 For Van southbound on Hwy 49, behind Trevor Ambler, who was driving a1002 Honda Civic.
A white truck in front of the Jeep came to a stop, preparing to make a left turn onto Columbia Way.
Gomes stopped behind the white truck. Ambler came to a stop behind the Jeep. Due to an unsafe speed, Moore was unable to stop his Ford in time, sliding into the rear of the Honda.
This collision forced the front of the Honda into the rear of the Jeep. Ambler complained of pain to his necd and back and was transported by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment.
