Dear Editor:
My family recently moved here from the Bay Area, like so many others. I really like the SierraSentinel.com and agree with many of the opinions voiced here.
This will be our first election in Calaveras County and we are openly shocked by the violence and racist and hateful rhetoric we hear from many of one certain candidate' supporters or campaign committee (we aren't sure which they are).
The hateful racist tones and the violent temper-tantrums and obvious attempts to make some feel threatened to vote for Oliveira campaign are the ones we just cannot handle.
We have not decided whether to vote for Ms. Callaway or Mr. Borean, but for those of you who are not aware of the serious breaches of decent conduct on the part of Mr. Oliveira, you are hereby warned. He could never be a good Supervisor.
