According to the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Department, on Wednesday April 16, 2014 around 2:30 PM deputies were dispatched to the Black Oak Casino regarding possible credit card fraud.
Three suspect, per the report, Cedric Devall, Jeremy Morgan and Troy Fletcher, all of Oakland, (no photos yet available) were together in the casino, and Devall had attempted to withdraw one thousand dollars ($1000.00) from a "cage" at the casino.
The card he used was believed to be fraudulent. After obtaining the money the suspects reportedly left the casino.
Deputies stopped their vehicle near casino property. Jeremy Morgan was on probation and as condition of probation he could be searched at any time by law enforcement.
Approximately 1.24 grams of Cocaine was found in Morgan's pocket and he was in possession of 11 fraudulent credit cards, according to deputies.
A search of the vehicle was done and additional fraudulent cards were located in the suspect's vehicle.
In total 29 fraudulent cards were located on the suspect's person and their vehicle.
All three suspects were transported to and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail. Devall had a no bail out of county arrest warrant and remains in custody.
Morgan had an out of county arrest warrant with a bail of $120,000 and remains in custody. Fletcher was able to pay the bail required and was released with a pending court date.
