According to the Calaveras Sheriff, Michael Anthony Wold (43) of Valley Springs, was arrested at a Calaveras County Fire Department location on May 12, 2014 for allegedly Starting Fires of Structures or Forests, a felony.
Wold was booked into the Calaveras County Jail. We have attempted to get more information from the new Calaveras Sheriff PIO, Sgt Anthony Eberhardt, without success. He doesn't seem to answer the phone and the Sheriff's Office did not give out an email address for this press person. We'll let you know.
