According to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office on May 19, 2014 at 2:30 PM detectives arrested Raymond Scott Irby (55) for the alleged stabbing of a 63 year old male at his home.
Irby was already in Calaveras County custody for alleged Possession of a Stolen vehicle and burglary charges at the time of his new charges.
Investigation revealed that Irby was responsible for the stabbing. The victim has since be released form the hospital and is recovering from his injuries.
The original incident occurred on May 5, 2014 on the 2600 block of El Dorado Drive in Arnold. This case is still under investigation. Irby is being held at the Calaveras County Jail. Bail was set at $500,000.
