Stabbing in Arnold

    According to the Calaveras Sheriff's Department on May 5, 2014 around 12:15 PM they responded to a residence on the 2600 block of El Dorado Drive in Arnold
for a possible stabbing.

   Deputies arrived on scene and observed a 63 year old male that sustained injuries from a sharp instrument.

   The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries sustained from an unknown assailant, according to the Sheriff.

    The Sheriff's Department does not have an update on the victim's medical status.  the investigation into the stabbing is ongoing.

   Additional information will be released at a later time.  The Sheriff's Department does not have a description of the suspect.
