UPDATE: The roadway has been cleared.
May 18, 2014 at 3 PM: CHP and Ebbetts Pass Fire are responding to a traffic accident on Hwy 4 right in front of the Red Apple.
It isn't yet known if there are injuries. An ambulance is also en route to the scene.
