On Tuesday, June 17, 2014 the Angels Camp City Council will meet in the Bret Harte Theater for a controversial
regular meeting beginning at 6 PM.
It is expected to be noisy, and holding it at the theater puts the Councilmembers on a "pedestal" away from the audience.
There will most likely be police too, and people, as it is commonly known, are taken away by police from speaking against the Council.
On the agenda is granting approval for the Mark Twain Hospital Medical Clinic to do pretty much anything it wants, with Dave Hanhams blessing.
They are approving a General Plan Amendment to the General Plan to change Zoning to approve this.
Without any notification to local residents, they have already approved this in a 3-2 vote of the Planning Commission.
What do they plan to do to the residents who live there? The City does whatever it wants to the older sections of this city. Not to Greenhorn residents, though.
They are expecting a few people to show up and present a petition. Gardner lane is expected to be made a TRUCK ROUTE, and Dogtown Td. is being changed too. This is an old Altaville area vs Greenhorn unfortunately.
This clinic has moved three times that we know of. Why? They are NEVER helping new businesses to expand.
Many are saying we need new City Council members or that they want to secede from the City of Angels.

Ahhhhh, does the city council feel threatened? Obviously they know they are in hot water. Maybe they need to go back to pre-school and learn how to play nice and take a nap.
Remember when Greenhorn Creek residents wanted to complain and they had a cop remove them from the podium.
