On June 9, 2014 around 12:15 PM the landlord of a house on Da Lee Way in Valley Springs was reportedly trying to start a fire in the woodstove. It was around 100 degrees outside.
The Calaveras Sheriff was called because of the disturbance. The Sheriff did not take a report.
