On June 13, 2014 Merle Johnnie Bell Spiller entered the gates of heaven,(preceded in death by) she was greeted by her parents Walter and Amilda McCleskey, three brothers; James, Loren and her twin Earl McCleskey; two sisters Jewette Hackette and Willie Mae Cockrell, three grandsons; Walter and Christopher Banford and Darick Miller.
She is survived by her brother David cCleskey, son Johnny and Nancy Reed, two daughters; Carolyn Ujcic and Laraye Miller, thirteen grandchildren; Jeff and Christy Reed, Jennifer and Ray Pogille, Jerri Reed, Christopher and Tracy Shaw, Teresa and Rick Dixon, NIcki Sorrel, Leroy and
Gregory Banford, Johnna and Terror Morton, Sarah and Jessica Miller; twenty eight great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren and a host of adopted kids.
Merle loved her family, friends and community. She loved working, playing darts and her Dallas Cowboys. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be Thursday June 19, 2014 from 1 til 6 PM at Angels Memorial Chapel. Graveside Services will be Friday June 20, 2014 at 2 PM at Altaville Protestant Cemetery.
