Per CHP on June 18, 2014 at around 12:30 PM, they responded to an accident reported on Tuolumne Rd North, south of Knox Rd in Twain Harte.
A 1996 Chevy Sedan was southbound on Tuolumne Rd North when for an unknown reason the driver(16) turned the Chevy to the left, crossed over the double yellow lines, over the northbound lane and collided into a raised dirt embankment.
The Chevy overturned several times and came to rest on its roof, blocking the north and south traffic lanes.
The driver and the male passenger (also 16) were unharmed. The female passenger (17) was flown to doctor's Hospital in Modesto for a broken arm and possible head and internal injuries.
Alcohol/drugs are not a factor in this collision, per CHP. The names of the people involved is being withheld, since all are under 18 years of age.
