Cause of fires-- ALL Fireworks ILLEGAL in Tuolumne County

UPDATE:  From a recent comment (rejected) we believe you should not be drinking when you are commenting on articles.

Waaa!
!I want fireworks!
UPDATE:  There is a person who keeps writing comments (rejected) that are both bewildering and lack intelligence, trying to get us to recommend fireworks.

We believe people like this should not be allowed
custody of children, much less be selling fireworks to them.  4th of July is a dangerous time in Calaveras County because of people like this. We will not post their comments. (See photo at left)
**********
Cal Fire reports that the causes of two fires that occurred last week  are now known. The Oak Fire on Pool Station road near Copperopolis, which burned 88 acres and destroyed one structure was caused
by a grinding operation in the dry grass.

The Rawhide fire on Rawhide road near Jamestown, which burned one acre, was also caused by a grinding operation in dry grass.

Also they are reminding the public that Fireworks of ALL types are banned in Tuolumne County, Ebbetts Pass on Hwy 4 and the Stanislaus National Forest.

For unknown reasons, some areas of Calaveras County are allowing Fireworks.  Talk to Smokey about how you can kill young wild creatures with your fireworks.

CalFire asks that if you see anyone doing anything that may be related to starting a fire, call 911.

I do not understand why Calaveras is allowing fireworks again this year. Someone must get a kick back from what is sold.
