January 3, 1955 - July 18, 2014Gerald James Marquez of Burson passed away on July 18, 2014. He was 59.
A native of Oakland he was a graduate of San Lorenzo High School.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents Barcelona Marquez and Jessie M. Cruz of Burson.
Gerry is survived by his Loving Wife Penny Marquez, Adored Daughter Melissa Marquez & Husband Say Phengphanh, Treasured Grand children Kaiya Cruz and Kayleb Quez Phengphanh.
He is also survived by siblings Bbobby Marquez, Gilbert Marquez, Jennie Rodriguez, many Nieces
and nephews and close family friends.
Although residing in the great foothills for 30 years, Gerry's true spirit shines brightest in the Bay Area. His favorite pastime consisted of 49er games & San Francisco Giants events.
Adored by many and admired by all, he leaves us to join his fallen siblings, Sunny Marquez, Eugene Marquez and Marie Kelly.
He will forever be greatly missed by all the lives he touched. Family and friends are welcome to join together for a "Celebration of Life" at the Rancho Calaveras Club House at 3995 Hwy 26 on
August 16th, 2014 at 1 PM until 5 PM.
