Robert Lynn Stoker was born on December 16, 1941 in Hollywood and passed away on July 12, 2014 in San Andreas.His parents were June Grand McClendon of New Mexico and James Lynn Stoker of Patterson, Arkansas.
The eldest of four, his brothers Jerry, Steve and Darryl and both parents have preceded him in death.
Robert Lynn Stoker was Daddy, Grandpa, Husband, Uncle, Cousin and Friend. He served in the Army from 1963 - 1967, was an expert with the M14 rifle and an excellent marksman.
He was a proud Mason since 1973 and a volunteer firefighter for Valley Springs Fire Department for 13 years; a benefit to the community of Valley Springs where he resided for over 39 years.
He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Patricia R. Stoker, daughter Patricia I. Gonzales (Robert) of Sacramento, son Robert M. Stoker of Valley Springs, granddaughters Amber Logan of Pine Grove, Jessica Duncan of Sutter Creek and Alicia Duncan of Valley Springs, along with several Great-Grandchildren.
He loved to garden, BBQ, sea and freshwater fish and spend time with his fellow man and family.
Services for Robert Lynn Stoker will be held on July 19, 2014 at San Andreas Memorial Chapel at 254 W. St. Charles Street in San Andreas.
Viewing will be from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM and services will follow. Burial will be at People's Cemetery with a luncheon following at the Masonic Lodge in San Andreas.
The family asks that if you could please bring a hot or cold dish to the memorial luncheon it would be very appreciated.
San Andreas Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
