CNN has a new show which debuted last night at 6 PM our time called "The Hunt". John Walsh returned to TV and for his first show profiled Shane Miller, a father and ex-con wanted for killing his wife and 2 little girls in a small town.
This one seems close to home, with the murder occurring in 2012 near Redding, and his hometown where he owned land, in Humboldt County.
Walsh, whose own son was kidnapped and murdered years ago, called Miller a coward and suggested that if he was too big a coward to turn his gun on himself, that he should turn himself in.
The authorities searched his land and found a bunker with 160 + guns inside, even though as a felon, he was not allowed to have guns or ammunition.
This story reminded some of us of the racist cowards in this area who threaten and harass women or use authority to illegally beat up handcuffed minorities, but haven't got the guts to go to work and take care of their own families.
The gun issue comes up again and again and again. This Miller guy is still on the loose.
Our own Sheriff Kuntz knows about and allows PTSD military to secretly carry guns even though the military is now taking them away from any serviceman who claims to have PTSD. Does the military know about this one?
Who knows what might happen in Calaveras, just like it happened in Shingletown. The father who killed his two children and himself in Forest Meadows clearly should not have been allowed to have a gun, either.
