The Tillamook Caper

   If you are a cheese lover, then you know the term Baby Loaf, the big size cheese at your grocers. The Tilamook Company has vans decorated as Baby Loaf in the orange color of cheddar which travel the country.

   When the trailers hauling these vans disappeared while in Manteca a couple of days ago, the search was on. A tip led Manteca authorities first to burned out trailers and then to Copperopolis.

   The vans were hidden in a storage locker in Copperopolis and were recovered. The trailers were totally destroyed. Although the vans were found in Copperopolis, the thieves were apparently from the Sacramento area.
