After nearly a year of waiting, organizing a Co-op, and worrying about what would happen next, we learned that on August 11, 2014 Skyline Investments, Inc. of Canada, bought the Bear Valley Ski Resort and are in escrow now. The ski resort is a boon to the local economy.Although many in the area had thought they would create a Co-op of local residents, this is what everyone really wanted to happen. A new investor to take over the troubled resort. Hopefully, they will clean house; getting rid of all the people working there currently and start over with fresh ideas and people who know what they are doing.
