Champ was arrested on Friday for allegedly shooting
one man and shooting and killing a horse near his home in Prather. The young son of the shooting
victim ran away.
A known registered sex offender, involved in a manslaughter charge with his vehicle, which he claimed was an accident and of soliciting a prostitute, the neighbor apparently was constructing some type of building that angered Champ.
In 1993 he was apparently convicted of assault with intent to commit rape.
