The pod was a pie shaped triangle, with the door at the triangle's point. The beds were back
toward the fat end of the triangle, which was split between two floors.
The showers, toilets and sinks were all upstairs. There were no dividers between the toilets that offered minimal privacy.
The showers were controlled by a push button that gave you about five minutes worth of water, but there was no way to adjust the temperature.
We were each assigned one of the steel bunks that were stacked three high. We slept on thin rubber mattresses on top of solid sheet metal, and we had no pillows.
This was a place where we never saw the sun or the light of day.
