CHP assisted with traffic control in a fire on August 8, 2014 at 4:10 PM on Hwy 49 and Hwy 120 in Chinese Camp, Tuolumne County.
Cal Fire responded with multiple units to the fire caused by a vehicle. 48 acres were burned before being extinguished and Hwy 49 had to be closed down for awhile.
