The Calaveras County Sheriff Volunteers Unit is seeking recruits to patrol neighborhoods and man the substations in Calaveras County and retirees are encouraged to apply.In a press release, the Unit is praising Sgt Vic Farina, a retired Bay Area officer who now lives in Calaveras County.
