Instead of the appointment of a new Calaveras Public Works Director in Closed Session, as expected, the Pontiff Chair Ponte announced that they have appointed Robert Pachinger Interim Public Works Director, assumably replacing Mr. Miller, who was Interim Director last week.
We had believed, as many other did, that they were searching for and found a permanent Public Works Director to replace Tom Garcia.

Mr. Pachinger will be a busy person, interim Public Works Director and interim county Surveyor. Congratulations.
I thought it was so cute how he kept thanking them every time he got up to speak.
