September 13, 2014: As of around midnight last night the Silverado Fire, located in the Cleveland National Forest in Orange County, was 1600 acres with 0% containment.
Several roads in the area of Corona and Silverado Canyon are closed to traffic. The cause of this fire is still unknown. During the night it crept closer to homes, but was stopped by firefighters before any were damaged.
