The Murphys Area Community Tennis Association (MACTA) is inviting tennis players from throughout the Mother Lode to sign up for the Mixed Doubles Tournament to be held Saturday, October 18, 2014.It will be held both at Bret Harte High School in Angels Camp and at MACTA"s Wintercreek Facility located behind the historic schoolhouse on Jones Street in Murphys.
The deadline to register is October 10, 2014, but those interested in taking part are encouraged to
register as soon as possible.
The tournament is open to players of all ages and abilities. Tennis enthusiasts can register by contacting the tournament director, Jim Triolo by phone at 795-3183 or by email mario22@prodigy.net.
There will be two flights determined by the skill of the registered participants, and you will be notified by email as the tournament comes closer.
The entry fee is $20 per player, plus a can of balls. this event is a fundraiser to help MACTA maintain the Wintercreek Facility so that they can sponsor youth and adult clinics and continue to promote tennis in the area.
During lunchtime, MACTA will have food and beverages for purchase in Murphys. MACTA is a non-profit organization.
