UPDATE at 1 PM: Caltrans has been forced to close all northbound lanes of Hwy 99 due to the structural damage to the overpass. Six CHP units are trying to divert traffic for Caltrans.
UPDATE at 12:45 PM: The eastbound Farmington Road lanes are closed indefinitely due to structural damage on the nearby overpass. Use an alternate route if headed to Stockton.
October 21, 2014 at 12:35PM: A big rig's load was too high and it hit the overpass at Hwy 99 and Farmington Road in Stockton.
The big rig is stuck and its front wheels are off the ground. Caltrans has been notifies and Sigalert has been issued for the area.
