Calaveras Sheriff's deputies were told there was a pickup towing a boat trailer with a rim dragging on Hwy 4 leaving Copperopolis, headed towards Stockton.
He was caught around the Orvis ranch and pulled over. The marks dug into the pavement all the way down Hwy 4. Also sparks can cause fires.
