After the final candidates night in District 5 Rancho Calaveras, we would like to know how you think it went; which candidates faired well, and if you changed your mind on anything.

Let us know by your comments, and yes, you can be  anonymous.

I thought both candidates did all right. crane tried to get nasty, as only crane can do, tho.

Steve Kearney was more thoughtful and people oriented. Crane always looks so Mean! I don't want another crazy like we have now.

It cured me of ever voting for marty crance. she appears to be a little bitt nuts to me. just barely hiding visciousness.

No one will hire her and she needs a job. that's what her husband has said. that's why she keeps running for office.

At first I was for Crane, but then found out she was the one trying to force Rancho Calaveras to be part of Valley Springs is that insane phony Community Plan.

I was a bit embarrassed for Marti. She appeared to be unfocused and had difficultly making her point. I am afraid that is what w would have for the next 4 years.

Steve Kearney was prepared and stayed on point. He answered the questions directly and backed up his position on controversial questions. Marti was a bit flighty and unfocused. It appeared to me she would redirect attention by attacking Steve's response without clearly defining position. She kept emphasizing she is qualified because she went to meetings and paid attention.

Clearly I support Steve Kearney. We really need somebody stable and upfront. This is something we haven't had for 4 years.

Feel sorry for her. At the very least she is a busy body and ham. She and Michael Oliverra make a good pair. And at the most, I hate to say it, but she is a troublemaker, and from what I have seen, should not be around children at all. And that' my own opninion, but I know plenty of others who agree.
