Fire in Copperopolis

  UPDATE at 11 AM:  Fire is fully contained. Burned about an 800 SF radius.

    UPDATE at 10:55 AM:   Air attack has been cancelled. Copper Fire quickly got a handle on the fire. It is now partially contained.


UPDATE:  First truck on the scene says its a little over an acre with wind pushing it. Air attack has been ordered, along with water tenders and Vallecito ground crew.


   October 6, 2014 at 10:45 AM:   A fire has been reported on Hwy 4 in Copperopolis. Several engines have been dispatched to the scene which is near Hwy 4 at Hodson near Littlejohn.

    We will report more details as they become available.
