UPDATE: A big rig is stuck in the snow and the driver has left the scene. The Caltrans gate was hit.
October 25, 2014 at 3:20 PM: A traffic accident has been reported on Hwy 88 at Kirkwood Meadows Drive, near the ski resort. Caltrans has been notified of snow.
As a result of the snow, vehicles are sliding in the roadway. CHP is trying to find out who is covering that area today. An ambulance is en route.
