UPDATE at 11:45 AM: We just learned that one vehicle's occupants were from out of town. That vehicle was a rental and is totaled per CHP.
October 3, 2014 at 11:15 AM: Two CHP are at the scene of an accident on Hwy 49 at Campo Seco Turnpike in Mokelumne Hill.
An ambulance is responding due to injuries. A white Ford Escape and a gray Lexus were involved.
