The two new Angels Camp City Council members will continue to have a hard time with the split on Greenhorn Creek vs, the older people in town.
Scott Beheil, who lives in Greenhorn Creek, will most likely side with the Greenhorn people against the older part of town, and with Kulm and Sobon.
Scott Kelly, who was appointed to the Council not long ago, used to side with the locals. Now Amanda Folendorf, who most feel will be trying to help her families real estate business, may be an unknown element.
Even if she sometimes sided with Elaine Morris, it would be the two of them vs. Greenhorn. Will that divide ever end? Not likely.
We are told that Greenhorn residents really think they are better educated, have more money and believe that they should rule on everything that comes up before the council.
Is it possible that she wants to sell her family's real estate listing across from the current City Hall to the city for their new headquarters?
The most recent battle was the Mark Twain Hospital clinic location in the worst possible location on Dogtown Road. We believe the possible new location just outside Greenhorn Creek is the best for everyone.

Keep the voices heard on any quick to arise issues. The squeaky wheels get the most grease. Be informed and be active on council agendas. Don't sit back and complain. If you want to be heard, you neex to fight folks. Let's all stay on our toes.
