David Bachelder of West Point

     David Bachelder of West Point passed away at his home of Cardiac Arrest on November 13, 2014. He was 63.

   A native of Stillwater, Minnesota,
he was born July 13, 1951 to William Bachelder and Marion Sjoholm Martin.

   He held an AA degree in Fine Arts. He  truly enjoyed working with his hands. Starting at a very young age David began creating, designing and building sets in theatre for the high school plays.

   Woodworking was one of his biggest joys in life, which came so naturally, and his passion for theatre and creating beauty will forever live in our hearts and memories.
  
   Mr. Bachelder is survived by his son Andrew Bachelder of Weatherford, Texas, daughter Rachael Bachelder of Hurst, Texas and son Nicholas Bachelder of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren Kaitlin and Jacob Bachelder; father William Bachelder of Livermore and Marion Martin of Arnold; brother Dan Bachelder of West Point, sisters Nancy Avila of Arnold and Peggy Allen of Diamond Springs, Bachelder of Fremont and Danielle Lawson of San Diego, nephew Zachary Allen of Placerville.

   He was preceded in death by his stepfather Bill Martin.

   Private services were held on November 16, 2014. Burial will be in Stillwater, Minnesota.  San Andreas Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
