To all of you who have reported to us about your Neighbors From Hell, be warned: Do not join a Neighborhood Watch group, as it is very possible that your very NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS are the criminals in your neighborhood.
When you report a burglary or other crime, do you tell the authorities that you believe it could be your next door neighbors, either because they do not like to work, or have a violent or have been fired for violence or other crimes?
We have found that the authorities in Calaveras County almost always ignore the facts. We recently spoke to a burglary victim in Arnold who said that the deputy was definitely NOT interested in solving the crime and ignored their pleas for help. They suspected their neighbors.

We had a robbery once and I showed a deputy the footsteps in the snow to the next house. He totally ignored and never investigated at all. I always thought maybe he was friends with the guy.
OMG, I AGREE! I think my next door neighbors are druggies that would do anything. If they aren't working, you know something is up.
Neighbors should always be the first ones questioned. Who knows better when you are home or not.
It's going around that at least one mean fat woman brags about it. Is she lying?
That can't be true. I've heard it but I don't believe it. I have a friend who they wouldn't even give a break to when he was having a hard time. It better not be true.
The only vet I know in Arnold is very nice and would never help low'lifes or be tricked I don't think.
I think the ones we have to worry about the most are the fired employees, racists and people with no children. mental cases.
