UPDATE: Not one word from the Oliveira camp on whether he will eliminate the Community Plans instituted by his predecessor, Merita Callaway. He states that he is not like her, but we hear that he is doing everything like she did, and could care less about jobs or business in District 3.
The Sierra Sentinel found out that the ridiculous Community Plans that had been concocted by untrained and self-interested people with personal agendas, were being eliminated from the Calaveras
County General Plan Update.
We immediately sent an email to Peter Maurer, Planning Director and Supervisor Michael Oliveira, asking if the Arnold Community Plan and those other idiotic small community plans that had been concocted to hurt jobs and certain builders in District 3, were also being thrown out. Planned Development is part of those plans.
His entire campaign, after the gun showdowns, promised to eliminate blockages to jobs in District 3, so we are awaiting his answer. We will publish it when we receive it.

I personally don't think any of these elected people care about anything but keeping their cushy jobs long enough to get re-elected and a comfy retirement check.
Whoa! this could either be his moment of truth or of saying "i'm just like ms. callaway" or of saying he really wants to change things, huh?
Uh, Oh! His first real test! This will show what he's really about!
I think they're in a meeting right now.
wha da ya mean? theyall have iphones.
He's no different than any other eected person; tell them nothing. do nothing and try to get re-elected. it's an easy job.
