Man electrocuted at SPI mill

   January 6, 2015:  Authorities were called to the Emmerson Mill in Arcata around 9:15 AM, where an SPI contractor, was found unconscious in an overhead boom lift basket. He had been doing testing and repairs.

   After lowering the basket, the man was declared deceased at the scene, electrocution the immediate cause. OSHA was called in to investigate, along with PG&E management. the name has not been released.
