He was 94 and still performing at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Little Jimmy Dickens was also the smallest performer.He had been a regular cast member since the beginning. He died on January 2, 2015. He was only 4' 11" tall, but was one of the most popular entertainers at the Opry.
