  In a surprise interview, the one-time whistle-blower on bad cops, on whom the movie "Serpico" was based, got angry enough to speak out.

   Frank Serpico, who now leads a quiet life said "Fire cops who turned their backs on Mayor." We agree! It's a sign of other corruption in the force and a union with way too much power.
