UPDATE at 12:30 PM: CHP was trying to find someone to take care of the dog for a few hours. Not sure if they were successful.
December 4, 2015 at 10 AM: A three car crash on Hwy 88 at Bamert Road in Ione has been reported to CHP.
Both lanes of Hwy 88 are currently blocked. A tow truck and an ambulance are en route to the scene.
