Edson: What's wrong? They told me it wouldn't hurt Calaveras. |
After watching the Calaveras Supervisors meeting of February 24, 2015 on video, it is perfectly clear that both Supervisors Ponte and Edson were doing nothing but political grandstanding for Tea Party Congressman McClintock. McClintock wants to scare people into approving more dams!
Using scare tactics to help their Tea Party Congressman, that Lake Tulloch may be drained, instead of waiting for the irrigation district and Tri-Dam to give accurate explanations, they both tiraded,
attempting to scare everyone.
These two Supervisors have been asked to resign due to their poor decision making ability due to past actions they have taken and have not even apologized. This just adds to the evidence of corruption.
Edson has also been criticized for promoting cutting down the watershed in Ebbetts Pass, to give more water to LA.
Susan Larson of Tri Dam will be at the meeting on March 7, 2015 in Copperopolis, to give accurate information. What Edson and Ponte have done is disgusting and corrupt!!

So now they are wasting more staff time with some special meeting they have called for McClintock--you're right. They are bad news!
Does Calaveras County have any authority over that lake?
I don't think they have ONE speck of control over that lake. It's irrigation district water. They are kooks.
Edson gives me the impression he wants to be important. I don't think he ever will be.
